Werdegang / Ausbildung:
Debora Harder was born in 1985, surrounded by the Black Forest. She studied Cultural Design (B.A.//Schwäbisch Hall//2005-2009) and finished her studies in Religion and Culture (M.A.//Berlin) in 2014. Right from the beginning she was interested in the human condition, starting from an aesthetic point of view (figure drawing) and later focusing on a rather sociotheological perspective.
The interdisciplinary character of her studies opened up new horizons for bodily experiences, e.g. in various projects concerning performance art, liturgy and ritual. Nevertheless, she is still dedicated to her first and only love: a pen, paper and a body. Since 2010 she is regularly attending figure drawing sessions at the Glogau Air Artist Residency Berlin where she finds the raw material for the paintings, collages and other art work she is currently working on.
